Return policy

REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY

 

We have a 14-day return and exchange policy, meaning you have 14 days after receiving the item to request and return your item for an exchange or store credit. No return or exchange will be accepted after this period.

Items will gladly be accepted given they're in the same condition as they were received.

This includes that the item must be unused, with no damage with the original tag still attached (as it was received), it must be unaltered, no stains, no hair and no odours on the item.

The item must be returned in its original packaging.

Any sign of wear or customer damage will result in your return request being denied.

No returns or exchanges of any kind will be accepted for any items on sale.

The shipping fee to return your item for an exchange or store credit will be as follows:

  • Exchange – fee is the responsibility of the customer
  • Store credit – fee will be deducted from your store credit

 

Once we receive your item we’ll inspect that it remains in line with our return and exchange policy, after inspection we’ll notify you of the status of your return – “approved” or “denied”.

This process will take 7 – 10 working days to complete.

Any signs of use or damage made by the customer will lead to the return request being denied.

Damages

If you receive an item that is damaged or the wrong item, please contact us immediately or within 5 days after receiving the item. Email orders@sakanya.co (use your order number as the subject line) and we’ll gladly assist you. Make sure to inspect your item as soon as you receive it.

If the item received is defective you’ll receive a replacement item free of charge after we’ve conducted an investigation. Once the defective item has been returned to us, we’ll send out your replacement item.

Exchanges

We can only offer an exchange for a different size of the same item. You cannot exchange one item for a completely different item (i.e. can't exchange A for B). Please consult our sizing chart before you make your purchase to make sure the need for an exchange doesn’t occur, as it can be time consuming.

International customers (outside South Africa)

International customers can use a courier of their choice. Please make sure you choose a courier that gives you a tracking number as we are not liable for any lost shipment on its way to us.
